Arsenal’s midfield injury crisis continues to get worse following the latest updates on Thomas Partey, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Mohamed Elneny.
Elneny is the latest player to be sidelined after he suffered a bad hamstring injury against Fulham.
Meanwhile, Partey and Zinchenko both missed the game against the Cottagers and are set to remain sidelined for Aston Villa, at least.

Partey’s injury timescale
Partey almost certainly out for at least the next couple of games, but could be back after that (if early indications are correct). Pressure will still certainly increase on Arsenal to bring someone in though if scan results show a long lay off for Elneny. Clock is ticking.

Charles Watts reports that Partey is expected to miss the next couple of matches.
The midfielder is currently nursing a thigh injury which saw him miss the win over Fulham.
But despite fears that he could be out for longer, the early indications suggest he will miss just one or two games.
The north London club’s supporters have long been calling out for another midfielder to be signed.
Now, with Zinchenko and Elneny also sidelined, there will now be mounting pressure on them to get another through the door.
