Ahead of that game, Antonio Conte and Dejan Kulusevski spoke to the press on Friday morning.
When doing so, Kulusevski, who joined Tottenham from Juventus in January, was asked to compare playing with Cristiano Ronaldo and both Harry Kane and Heung-min Son, to which the Swede answered:
“It compares a little bit. I have to make them score. That’s my job to give the ball to Harry and Son to score and their finishing is out of this world,” said Kulusevski.

In the same press conference, Antonio Conte was asked about Kulusevski and had this to say: “It’s a pleasure for me and the players and everybody to be at the club and to play against an important team like Roma. We’re looking forward to the game.”
Tottenham vs Southampton
Following their clash with Jose Mourinho’s Roma, Tottenham will face off with Southampton on Saturday the 6th of August at 3 pm UK time.
Tottenham head into the game looking to hit the ground running under Conte and potentially challenge the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City.
As for Southampton, they have not had the most productive window and are clear underdogs for Saturday’s game.
However, the Saints will take solace in the fact that they beat Spurs 3-2 the last time these two sides met back in February. Can they cause another upset this time around?
