The Philadelphia Eagles have acquired former first-round pick Jahan Dotson from Washington Commanders in a trade giving them a 2025 fifth-round pick in exchange for one third-round and two seventh-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Wide receiver Dotson was the 16th overall pick in the 2022 draft and will join AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith in his position for the Eagles.
The move comes a day after the Eagles released a video following Dotson in a pre-season session with the help of a microphone attached to the former Penn State college star.

Jahan Dotson stats
New-Jersey born Dotson recorded 49 receptions for 518 yards and four scores last season, including eight for 108 yards in a 38-31 defeat against Philadelphia.
During his rookie season, Dotson showed his promise by catching 35 passes for 523 yards and seven touchdowns in 12 games.
The 24-year-old is known as one of the quickest players in the NFL but was hampered during his debut campaign by a hamstring injury.
The Commanders missed the play-offs for a third consecutive season in 2023, while the Eagles went out in the Wild Card round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dotson: Commanders to Eagles
Dotson had joked two weeks ago that he “felt like I had been traded” because of the number of changes that have taken place for the Commanders since last season ended.
“Everything has been brand new this year,” he explained on the Up & Adams Show. “Ownership, coaching, we’ve got like 20 different players.
“It’s been all great, awesome. My potential is so untapped. I’ve yet to show the world what I can really do on the field.
“I’m really looking forward to doing that this year and in years to come. I’m so excited, I really am. I really cannot wait because you guys really have not seen half of it.”
The Eagles play the Minnesota Vikings at their Lincoln Financial Field home on Saturday (1pm ET).
