Davante Adams is due to speak to the media today as speculation grows suggesting the Las Vegas Raiders are willing to trade their star wide receiver.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the Raiders have informed other NFL teams that they would accept a package that included a second-round draft pick and additional compensation for the three-time All-Pro.
Adams has rarely looked happy in Vegas and rumors around his future have swirled for several weeks but gained momentum yesterday when it emerged an Instagram post from Sports Illustrated that speculated he had played his last game for the Raiders was liked by coach Antonio Pierce.

Asked about the post on the ‘Up & Adams Show with Kay Adams’, Adams said: “I haven’t heard from him. I haven’t talked to him.
“Social media is a beast so it’s a lot of people out there that saw it and wondering what’s going on and reaching out.
“All I can control is this talk we’re having right here and after we’re done with this all I can control is the next thing that I’m on to.”
Pierce is also due to speak to the media today.
Adams missed Sunday’s 20-16 win over the Cleveland Browns with a hamstring injury but was seen celebrating with team-mates on the touchline.
The 31-year-old has 18 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown in three games this season.
It remains to be seen if he is fit for the weekend matchup with the Denver Broncos.
