Las Vegas Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce avoided addressing rumours during his news conference on Wednesday regarding reports of wide receiver Davante Adams’ potential trade request.
Instead, Pierce focused on Adams’ injury status ahead of their match against the Denver Broncos saying: “Davante’s dealing with a hamstring.
“He’s rehabbing, and the rest of us are focused on Denver.
“Yeah, I’m just focused on Denver.
“Me and Davante talk often. I’ll leave that [the conversation] between me and Davante.”
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Adams reportedly has interest in reuniting with a quarterback he’s played with before, putting the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints at the top of his preferred trade destinations.

Adams has a history with Aaron Rodgers from their eight seasons together on the Green Bay Packers and he played with Derek Carr at the Raiders.
Despite the ongoing trade speculation, Pierce emphasised that both he and the team are fully focused on preparing for Denver.
He added: “It starts with me, because that’s my only focus.
“I get paid here to get ready each and every week for the opponent. I don’t blink. I don’t flinch.
“Business as usual, just got to keep rolling.
“This is the NFL, things come up every day. Since I’ve taken over this job, it’s been obstacles. This is another one.”
