Saints vs Chiefs: Taylor Swift expected to watch Travis Kelce in Monday Night Football game

The Chiefs can join the Minnesota Vikings on five wins from five

Kansas City Chiefs NFL American football player Travis Kelce

Pop superstar Taylor Swift is expected to be back in the stands when her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, plays for Kansas City Chiefs against New Orleans Saints in the Monday Night Football NFL game (8.15pm ET).

A fan clip of Kelce taken on Saturday appears to show the 35-year-old confirming that the serial chart-topper will be at Arrowhead Stadium.

Tight end Kelce had a busy Saturday, taking part in a fundraising event for his charitable foundation, the Kelce Car Jam.

The date coincided with his birthday, and Swift’s absence from his celebrations has led to an inevitable deluge of speculation about their relationship.

Taylor Swift: Saints vs Chiefs?

Some reports have suggested that Swift was busy preparing for her forthcoming Eras Tour dates, which resume in Miami on October 18.

Swift, who is credited by some as being a lucky charm for Kelce, missed her first game of the campaign when Kansas beat the Atlanta Falcons on September 23.

Kelce’s critics have suggested Swift could have a distracting effect on his football after he appeared on stage with her during one of her shows.

Monday Night Football

Kansas have won all four of their opening games, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 17-10 on their last outing on September 29.

Their performances have not been entirely convincing, though, and coach Andy Reid’s task has been complicated by a lengthy injury list.

Rashee Rice suffered a serious knee injury against the Chargers and fellow wide receiver Marquise Brown is yet to make his debut because of a shoulder problem.

The Saints are underdogs and have suffered narrow defeats in their last two games to the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.

Dennis Allen’s team began the season in storming style, beating the Carolina Panthers 47-10 and the Dallas Cowboys 44-19.
