Mike Tyson vowed to bring “the devil himself” to the ring when he fights Jake Paul on Friday night.
The 58-year-old takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in Arlington in a bout that, while officially sanctioned by the state of Texas, will be held over eight, two-minute rounds.
Tyson has not fought since an exhibition with Roy Jones Jnr in 2020 and his clash with Paul had to be delayed for four months after he fell ill on a plane.

Nevertheless, the former world heavyweight champion of the world has looked in impressive shape in the build-up, particularly in Tuesday’s open workout.
Tyson told ESPN: “I’m bringing the devil himself [to the ring].
“My own mother should be very careful if she has to get in the ring with me. When it’s over, it’s over. But while the process is going on, my intention is to hurt him. I hope he has the same intentions, or he is in trouble.”
Tyson is 31 years older than his opponent and money is the clear motivation for both men.

Tyson wants to be known as the ‘baddest man on the planet’ – by his own kids!
However, Tyson also hoped the fight would give him a little respect from his children, particularly 16-year-old daughter Milan.
He said: “She saw me on television fight with Roy Jones [in 2020], but she has never seen anything of this magnitude in her life.
“My kids don’t really think of me as the baddest man on the planet. They look at me as Dad [and tell me] sit your old ass down.
“But on November 15 they will have a different opinion of me.”
