Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders has playfully accused TV presenters of “trying to make me cry” while discussing his work with his sons in the new series of his Coach Prime show.
A two-time Super Bowl champion as a player, Sanders has launched the third series of the documentary, which features two of his sons among his squad.
Quarterback Shedeur Sanders is expected to be a first-round pick in the NFL Draft, while defensive back Shilo Sanders has been projected as a borderline draft pick by The Athletic, potentially on an undrafted free-agent contract at the end of the draft.

Deion Sanders: ‘Tough to see it end’
“That’s tough,” Sanders senior replied when he was asked on ABC’s Good Morning America about the prospect of no longer seeing the pair every day.
“I’ve coached them every step of the way. I’ve always been there. It’s tough to know that we’ve been together from day one. It’s tough to see it end, it really is.”
Sanders added that he would only “consider” a move to the NFL to work with both of his sons, although he reiterated his commitment to the Buffaloes.

Sanders: ‘I love Colorado’
The 57-year-old former Jackson State Tigers boss said it would also be a “relief” not to “worry about the fatherly part” while coaching.
“You instill those things into them that they can take to the next level,” he explained. “I will never cease being their father because we don’t know any other way. I’m going to miss the seniors who are leaving so much.
“I love Colorado. I love my Buffaloes. I love everything we’re building and everything we’re doing. I love Boulder, Colorado immensely.”

Coach Prime: Sanders shares memories
Speaking earlier this week, Sanders recalled some of his earliest memories of bringing up his budding NFL stars. “The first thing I’ve reflected on is their uniforms laid out in my closet the night before the game when we were in youth league, when they first started playing,” he told Tubi.
“They were so excited to wake up the next morning that they already had them laid out, like I did in the pros. You think about all the trials and tribulations up to now — it was tumultuous.”
A clip from the series shows the trio walking out for the last time together, with Sanders telling them to protect themselves, “have a good time tonight” and “lay everything out there”.
