Despite their heartbreaking loss to the Buffalo Bills in the Divisional Round, the Baltimore Ravens remain confident that Lamar Jackson will eventually lead them to a Super Bowl victory.
Jackson, a two-time NFL MVP, has yet to reach the pinnacle of his career, a fact that has not escaped his notice.
At just 28 years old, he has the potential to become the youngest player in NFL history to win three MVP awards.
He is coming off a career-best season, setting an NFL record by throwing for 41 touchdowns with only four interceptions.
However, Jackson’s play-off record remains a concern. He has struggled with turnovers in the postseason, with 11 turnovers in his career, the most in the league since 2018.
“It’s inevitable,” Pro Bowl fullback Patrick Ricard said. “He’s going to win a Super Bowl, and I want to be a part of it. It just sucks that it hasn’t happened yet.

“I personally feel bad for him because he deserves it just because of how great of a player he is.
“He deserves to be considered one of the best quarterbacks. He already is, but I know everyone considers championships as the standard, and he’ll get it one day.
“There’s still time. He’s still young. He’s definitely going to [get] one at some point.”
“Oh, he’s mad. He’s mad for sure,” Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers added. “We know our team. We know what we’re supposed to do and we know the only way that we can’t do what we want to is what we did yesterday. So I already know how he’s feeling.”
The Ravens have been a favourite for the Super Bowl in each of the last three years.
But poor weather and a decisive dropped catch by Mark Andrews against the Buffalo Bills cost them a shot at the Championship game.
Jackson and Co will have to regroup and go again as they look to finally put an end to the Ravens’ 12-year wait for a Super Bowl.
