Amari Cooper is enjoying the “Josh Allen experience”.
Cooper watched wide-eyed with the rest of his Buffalo Bills teammates as Allen produced a thrilling touchdown run to secure a 30-21 win over the previously unbeaten Kansas City Chiefs last night.
On four-and-2 from the Chiefs’ 26-yard line, with under three minutes remaining, the game was on the line against a Kansas City team that have made a habit of eking out wins from difficult situations this season.
They didn’t get the chance Sunday as Allen broke the line of scrimmage and powered past several challenges to end the Chiefs’ 100 per cent record and improve the Bills to 9-2.
JOSH. ALLEN. GREATNESS.

‘Big-time players make big-time plays in big-time situations’
Cooper, who was traded to the Bills last month from the Cleveland Browns, is relishing working with Allen at close quarters.
The wide receiver said: “The Josh Allen experience, with this magnitude, has been phenomenal, man. He’s a great player. The old adage, big-time players make big-time plays in big-time situations, and that’s exactly what he did.
“The league has stars and [Allen’s] one of them, you know what I mean. He’s just a tremendous talent, very skilled guy. Some guys are just made to play ball and the position that they play, and he’s definitely one of those guys. So, yeah, it’s been very fun to watch. I’ve been having a lot of joy since I’ve been here. We won every game, so it’s been cool.”
On 4th & 2 with 2:27 left in regulation, Josh Allen dropped back before breaking off a 26-yard TD run.
Allen had just a 1.2% chance of scoring a touchdown once he tucked the ball to run. It was Allen’s first scramble TD run against the Chiefs in his career.

McDermott gets reward for attacking approach
Credit also went to Bills coach Sean McDermott. If Allen had been stopped, it would have given Patrick Mahomes more than two minutes to drive into field goal position and produce another escape act for a Chiefs team that has made it a habit this season.
On his decision to go for it on fourth down, McDermott said: “I just felt we mapped it out during the week and felt strongly that that was the right decision.
“I don’t want to be resulting, if you will, but would’ve stood by it if it didn’t work out. Just felt like there’s been too many games, as you guys know, where Andy [Reid] and Patrick [Mahomes] have come back and you kick a field goal and they go score a touchdown or it’s overtime just in different games where they’ve been and they get the ball first and the game’s so they’re just way too good to not go for it right there.”
