The Cardinals land an elite pass rusher
The Arizona Cardinals signed former Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Josh Sweat to a four-year contract worth $76 million, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. That deal includes a $41 million guarantee.

Chicago makes more improvements in the trenches
The Chicago Bears’ rebuild of their offensive line continued when they signed center Drew Dalman to a three-year deal worth $42 million, according to Ian Rapoport.
They also added some bodies along the defensive front. According to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Grady Jarrett is signing with Chicago for three years and $43.5 million. Meanwhile, Dayo Odeyingbo has agreed to a three-year, $48 million contract with the Bears, according to sources who spoke to Ian Rapoport.
The Browns trade for a quarterback
The Cleveland Browns have agreed to trade quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson and a fifth-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for quarterback Kenny Pickett, according to Ian Rapoport. The deal will not become official until the new league year begins on March 12th.

Denver snags a pair of former 49ers
The Denver Broncos have agreed to deals with former 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw and defensive back Talanoa Hufanga. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Hufanga’s contract is for three years and is worth $45 million. Greenlaw’s three-year deal is worth $35 million, according to sources who spoke to Ian Rapoport.
The Lions make an upgrade at cornerback
After letting Carlton Davis test out free agency, the Detroit Lions were able to quickly find his successor by signing former Jets cornerback D.J. Reed to a three-year, $48 million contract that includes a $32 million guarantee, according to sources who spoke to Fox Sports’ Jordan Schultz.

The Texans trade for a defensive back
According to Adam Schefter, the Houston Texans are trading guard Kenyon Green to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson. The deal also includes a pick swap, with Houston receiving a 2026 sixth-round pick and Philly getting back a 2026 fifth-round pick.
Green Bay adds a cornerback and a guard
The Green Bay Packers are signing former 49ers guard Aaron Banks to a four-year, $77 million contract, according to sources who spoke to Adam Schefter.
Green Bay is also bringing in former Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs on a four-year deal worth $48 million, his agent told ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
The Colts shore up their secondary and sign Daniel Jones
According to Adam Schefter, Indy is signing former 49ers CB Charvarius Ward to a three-year deal worth $60 million that includes a $35 million guarantee as well as a $20 million signing bonus.
The Colts were also able to lure away safety Camryn Bynum from Minnesota. According to Tom Pelissero, his deal with Indianapolis is for four years and is worth $60 million.
Former Vikings and Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is expected to sign a one-year, $14 million deal with Indy, according to Adam Schefter.

Jacksonville lands a big fish on the offensive line
The Jacksonville Jaguars were able to secure one of the best available linemen in the 2025 free-agent class. According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, former Ravens guard Patrick Mekari is signing a three-year, $37.5 million deal with the Jags that includes $20 million guaranteed.
Mack is back in LA, as well as a new running back
Three-time All-Pro and former Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack is returning to the Los Angeles Chargers on a one-year, fully guaranteed $18 million deal, according to Ian Rapoport.
Also, the Chargers added a new running back. According to the NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, Ian Rapoport, and Mike Garafolo, former Pittsburgh Steelers first-round pick Najee Harris is signing a one-year contract with the Bolts worth up to $9.25 million.

Minnesota makes a big splash
The Minnesota Vikings are re-signing Pro Bowl cornerback Byron Murphy Jr. to a three-year, $66 million contract, according to sources who spoke to Adam Schefter. Though Minnesota announced the deal, the team has not yet revealed the exact terms of the contract.
The Vikes added two key pieces along the offensive line, too. Minnesota is signing former Colts guard Will Fries to a five-year deal worth $88 million that includes a $44 million guarantee, according to a source who spoke to Pro Football Talk. Also, the Vikings have agreed to a two-year, $18 million contract with four-time Pro Bowl center Ryan Kelly, according to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
Plus, Minnesota is bringing in former Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jonathan Allen on a three-year, $60 million deal, according to Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.
The Patriots are on a shopping spree
After adding Harold Landry III, the New England Patriots continued to bolster their defensive line by signing former Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams to a four-year, $104 million contract, according to Tom Pelissero and Mike Garafolo. The contract includes a $51 million guarantee as well as a $24 million signing bonus.
The Pats also made improvements to the secondary by signing former Lions cornerback Carlton Davis. According to Tom Pelissero, that deal is for three years and is worth $60 million, with $34.5 million guaranteed.
On top of that, New England strengthened its offensive line by signing former Jets tackle Morgan Moses to a three-year deal worth up to $28.5 million, according to Mike Garafolo.

Chase Young is staying in New Orleans
Former number-two overall pick Chase Young is re-signing with the New Orleans Saints, according to sources who spoke to Adam Schefter. The three-year, $51 million deal could be worth up to $57 million with incentives.
Big Blue re-signs a wideout and adds help in the secondary
The Giants are bringing back wide receiver Darius Slayton on a three-year, $36 million deal, his agent told Adam Schefter.
The G-Men are also making improvements on the back end. New York is signing former Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo to a three-year contract worth up to $54 million, according to Adam Schefter. Additionally, the Giants are bringing in former Dolphins safety Jevon Holland on a three-year, $45.3 million deal that includes a $30.3 million guarantee, according to Adam Schefter.
Gang Green finds its next QB and D.J. Reed’s replacement
According to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the New York Jets are signing former Bears and Steelers quarterback Justin Fields to a two-year deal worth $40 million with $30 million guaranteed.
They are also adding a cornerback to replace D.J. Reed. New York has agreed to a three-year, $36 million contract with former Ravens cornerback Brandon Stephens, according to Mike Garafolo.

Seattle brings in Darnold and re-signs two defenders
According to Tom Pelissero, Mike Garafolo, and Ian Rapoport, the Seattle Seahawks are signing former Vikings and Jets quarterback Sam Darnold to a three-year, $100.5 million deal that includes a $55 million guarantee. Last week, Seattle traded Geno Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders for a third-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The ‘Hawks are bringing back two key defenders, too. According to Adam Schefter, Seattle is re-signing defensive tackle Jarran Reed to a three-year contract worth up to $25 million. Simultaneously, the Seahawks are re-signing linebacker Ernest Jones IV to a three-year deal worth $33 million, according to Ian Rapoport.
The Bucs are bringing back Godwin and adding Reddick
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are re-signing wide receiver Chris Godwin to a three-year, $66 million contract that includes a $44 million guarantee, according to Adam Schefter. Sources who spoke to Schefter said that the deal could be worth up to $72 million with incentives.
Tampa is also adding former Eagles and Jets edge rusher Haason Reddick. According to sources who spoke to Adam Schefter, that deal is for one year and is worth $14 million, with $12 million guaranteed.

Washington makes a trade, signs a defender, and re-signs their defensive leader
The Washington Commanders are finalizing a trade with the Houston Texans for five-time Pro Bowl tackle Laremy Tunsil. According to Ian Rapoport, the Commanders will receive Tunsil and a 2025 fourth-round pick, while the Texans will be getting back a 2025 third-round pick, a 2025 seventh-round pick, a 2026 second-round pick, and a 2026 fourth-round pick.
Washington has already found a replacement for Jonathan Allen. According to Adam Schefter, the Commanders are signing former 49ers and Jets defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw to a three-year, $45 million contract with $30 million in guaranteed money.
Washington is also bringing back linebacker Bobby Wagner, who led the team in total tackles last season. His one-year deal is worth up to $9.5 million and includes an $8 million guarantee, according to Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport.
