Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons is not concerned about a new deal at the moment and has his eyes firmly fixed on the Super Bowl.
Both Dak Prescott and Ceedee Lamb recently signed extensions, significantly bumping their salaries in the process.
And according to ESPN, Parsons is next in line for a huge payday.
The 25-year-old is in the final year of his rookie contract, with the Texas side already activating their fifth-year option in the deal.
But the defensive All-Pro is keen to renegotiate terms that would make him one of the highest-paid defensive players in the NFL.
But that is not at the forefront of his priorities right now.

On his ‘The Edge with Micah Parsons’ podcast, he said: “I know I’m going to be a Cowboy.
“There’s nothing like Cowboy Nation. I think the love is very mutual.
“As for me, I’m just focused on winning games. I want to win those big games.
“I want to win those playoff games, get to the Super Bowl. For me, the contract is not really what I’m worried about.
“It’s just me being the best player that I can be for my guys, for my teammates,” Parsons said.
“If a contract or something like that happens [at some point], then that happens. But right now, we’re going to focus on just trying to be legendary, be great and bring championships back to Dallas.”
Parsons is already a three-time Pro Bowler and could overtake Nick Bosa as the highest-paid defensive player.
The Cowboys got their campaign off to a winning start, sweeping aside the Cleveland Browns with ease.
