NFL round-up: Ravens, Packers, Texans, Buccaneers record big wins

There were plenty of points on the board this Sunday.

With some teams away for the London NFL games, there were a lot of eyes on the reduced number of Sunday afternoon games.

The San Francisco 49ers had already put on a show against the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, while the Chicago Bears beat the Jacksonville Jaguars earlier in the day.

Read on to see how the matches unfolded ahead of the evening clashes.

New Orleans Saints 27-51 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Tamps Bay Buccaneers put up a massive 51 points against the Saints.

Baker Mayfield’s 328 yards and four touchdowns was the icing on top of the cake for the 4-2 franchise.

Both Sean Tucker and Chris Godwin scored and combined for 266 yards in a brilliant match from start to finish.

Baltimore Ravens 30-23 Washington Commanders

The Baltimore Ravens halted the Washington Commanders’ run and picked up a huge victory for their play-off push.

Derrick Henry scored two touchdowns for the Ravens, while Lamar Jackson threw for 323 yards.

Jayden Daniels still threw two touchdown passes and totalled 269 yards in the game.

Green Bay Packers 34-13 Arizona Cardinals

Green Bay scored a huge victory to move to 4-2, at the expense of the Cardinals.

Jordan Love threw a massive four touchdown passes, compared to Kyler Murray’s one.

There will be concern for the Cardinals, who watched rookie receiver Marvin Harrison Jr limp off in the second quarter.

Tennessee Titans 17-20 Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts just about overcame the Tennessee Titans, ensuring their record is equalled up at 3-3.

Both quarterbacks were intercepted during the game, and Joe Flacco was held to 189 yards.

Will Levis was even more restricted, just making 95 yards in the match.

New England Patriots 21-41 Houston Texans

Drake Maye’s first start as a Patriot was a harsh lesson for the rookie.

He threw three touchdowns but was also intercepted twice, totalling 243 yards.

It was more than CJ Stroud could manage, hitting 192 yards and three touchdown passes, the same as his opponent.

Philadelphia Eagles 20-16 Cleveland Browns

Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles got past the Cleveland Browns, condemning them to 1-5 for the season.

Deshaun Watson did not manage a score at QB for the Browns, while Hurts threw two.

AJ Brown hit 116 receiving yards, the most of anyone in the match.
