The NFL playoffs continue this weekend with the Divisional Round in both the AFC and NFC.
And with only one of the four games being played indoors, the weather could be a factor in determining who moves forward to the Conference Championships next weekend.
There is a cold snap expected to hit much of the northern states in the US over the coming days that could complicate matters even further.

Saturday, January 18
Houston Texans @ Kansas City Chiefs – 4.30pm ET
The Texans visit Arrowhead Stadium for the second time in five weeks. The Chiefs are 8-0 on home turf this season and have not lost in front of their fans since Christmas Day 2023.
Forecast at kickoff: The good news is it is likely to be dry with just a four per cent chance of precipitation. However, it will be cold with temperatures down at around 25F. There is also set to be a tricky breeze of between 10-20mph.
Washington Commanders @ Detroit Lions – 8pm ET
Given Ford Field is an indoor arena, the weather won’t hamper the efforts of quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Jared Goff.
Forecast: The temperature outside will drop to 15F by kickoff after a morning that promises snow and a chill wind.

Sunday, January 19
Los Angeles Rams @ Philadelphia Eagles – 3pm ET
The Eagles have the best running back in the NFL in Saquon Barkley and he has previous against the Rams having run for 302 scrimmage yards when the teams met in the regular season. Having the option to keep the ball on the ground could be useful.
Forecast: Scattered snow showers becoming steadier and heavier late in the day. Temperatures won’t rise above 35F.
Baltimore Ravens @ Buffalo Bills – 6.30pm ET
The much-anticipated clash between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson is the final course on the weekend menu. The Ravens cruised to victory 35-10 on home turf when they last met but expect a reaction from Allen and the Bills.
Forecast: There may be some wintry precipitation but heavy snow is not forecast. The temperature will dip to a blisteringly cold 16F at kickoff.
