Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox delivered yet another outstanding performance, scoring 49 points in a 121-117 victory over the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.
This followed his career-best 60-point game the night before against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fox started the game in fine form, going perfect in the first quarter and seamlessly getting to his spots on the court.
His 109 points over two consecutive games place him in elite company, joining Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history to achieve such a feat within 48 hours.
Fox also became the second Kings player to score at least 100 points in two games, following DeMarcus Cousins’ 104 points in 2016.
With the Kings missing key players DeMar DeRozan, Domantas Sabonis, and Malik Monk, Fox stepped up to shoulder the load.

His ability to score at all levels was on full display against the Jazz.
He shot 16-of-30 from the field, hitting just three three-pointers, and went 14-of-16 from the free-throw line.
Reflecting on his performance, Fox said: “I was a little tired coming in today, but I feel like when the game started, I was fine… I’m not going to say I’m not tired… but I can’t say this back-to-back has made me more tired than any other back-to-back.
“Being able to get downhill and touching the paint has worked wonders.
“Whenever you are able to do that, you’re able to one, get to the rim, two, get to the free throw line and three, you’re able to still create for teammates.
“I’m trying to have a point of emphasis on that.”
