Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski is attempting to ignore the talk around his position and focus on securing a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football.
The Browns reached the playoffs for the second time in four years last season but have limped to 2-8 in 2024, their worst start since 2017.
Things are likely to get worse before they get better against the AFC North-leading Steelers, who are 8-2.
Asked about his job security, Stefanski said: “I’m smart enough to not worry about outside noise.
“I get that’s part of this gig. That’s life in the big city. My sole focus is getting this team ready to get a win on Thursday night. That’s it.”
Stefanski is set to stick with kicker Dustin Hopkins despite his dismal performance against the New Orleans Saints last weekend.
The Steelers come in on the back of an impressive 18-16 win over the Baltimore Ravens.
