Jordan Spieth

Jordan Spieth hasn’t played at TPC Deere Run since 2015, where he won the event for the second time in his career. Spieth has has a varied season so far, and certainly not the best one. He has only won 2 events in the last seven years, with the odds looking valuable, this surely is based on the fact that he has won this event twice before.

Patrick Cantlay

Surprisingly, former front runner to win the John Deere Classic, Patrick Cantlay, has pulled out of the event. Cantlay was originally strong favorite to win with the odds favoring him at +900 ahead of Sungjae Mi. The player confirmed via social media that he has sustained an injury while training and will not be able to take part in the event.
