Team USA fan and hugely popular rapper Snoop Dogg will be a torchbearer of the Olympic flame on its final stretch before the 2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.
The 52-year-old, who was fitted for a Team USA podium outfit on Monday, will carry the torch through Saint-Denis, the underprivileged northern Paris suburb home of the Stade de France Olympic Stadium, town mayor Mathieu Hanotin said on social media.
In a busy week of sporting collaboration for Snoop Dogg, the chart-topper featured in a post shared with Team USA while wearing a t-shirt showing star sprinter Noah Lyles, who he called “the goat” (greatest of all time).
