Where can I watch the Paris 2024 Olympics? Dates, times, streaming and TV channels

How and when to catch the action from France for the next three weeks

Paris 2024

The Games of the 33rd Olympiad are nearly upon us.

The eyes of the world will be trained on Paris, France, this Friday for what organisers claim will be the largest Opening Ceremony of any Olympic Games, ever.

Around 10,500 athletes from more than 200 nations will flock to France to compete in 32 sports for 329 gold medals.

The first of 19 days of sporting competition is actually on Wednesday, July 24, two days before the official opening, with pool games in some team sports, while there will be a ranking round for individual archers on Thursday, July 25.

But how and when and where can you follow the action from Paris this summer?

Read on to find out.

Time Difference

The first thing to remember is that European sport means some early starts in the US.

Paris is currently on Central European Summer Time, which puts it an hour ahead of London, England, and SIX ahead of EDT.

So let’s take the blue ribbon event of any Olympic Games as an example, the men’s 100m final, where Noah Lyles is going for gold, will take place on Sunday, August 4.

The race is scheduled to start at 9.50pm in Paris, which means those in EDT will need to tune in at 3.50pm, it’s 2.50pm Central and 12.50pm on the west coast.

Where can I watch it?

NBC will be showing selected events live and others on delay on national TV but Peacock subscribers will be able to stream every single event through their subscription, giving them access to more than 3,000 hours of competition.

Cable channels showing Olympic action: NBC, USA Network, Golf Channel, E! and Telemundo.

Streaming is available on: Peacock, NBC Sports App and the NBCOlympics.com website.
