Neymar has hinted at a potential reuniting with his former Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami in the coming months.
The Brazil star suggested it “would be interesting to revive” their legendary ‘MSN’ partnership that delivered unprecedented success in Spain a few years ago.
While Messi and Suarez are currently lighting up Major League Soccer (MLS) with Inter Miami, Neymar remains under contract with Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal until the summer of 2025.
Despite speculation that his deal could be terminated due to recurring injury issues, the Brazilian forward appears committed to honouring his current agreement, although did not rule anything out.
At 32 years old, Neymar may face a pivotal career decision in the coming months. With rumours swirling about a potential reunion with Messi and Suarez in the United States, Neymar didn’t dismiss the idea when speaking to CNN Sport.
He said: “Obviously, playing again with Messi and Suarez would be incredible.
“They are my friends. We still speak to each other. It would be interesting to revive this trio.

“I’m happy at Al-Hilal, I’m happy in Saudi Arabia, but who knows. Football is full of surprises.”
He also elaborated on why he chose Saudi Arabia over other destinations when leaving Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.
Neymar added: “When the news came out that I was leaving Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer window was closed in the United States, so I didn’t have this option.
“The project they offered me (in Saudi Arabia) was very good, not just for me but also for my family, so going to Saudi Arabia was the best option.”
Neymar, who is five years younger than both Messi and Suarez, still has time to make an impact at the highest level of football, although his injuries have prevented him from having any real legacy in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Messi and Suarez are signed with Inter Miami through the 2025 MLS season, which leaves room for a potential reunion before either of them retire.
