Brazil star Raphinha has launched an x-rated rant at South American rivals Argentina ahead of tomorrow night’s crunch World Cup qualifier in Buenos Aires.
Argentina will be guaranteed of their place at next summer’s finals if they avoid defeat at El Monumental but Raphinha is determined not to let that happen and says he will take any means necessary to ensure Brazil come away victorious.
The Barcelona playmaker, who has been the stand-out player for the Blaugrana this season, spoke to former Brazil striker Romario and didn’t hold back in his views.
Asked by Romario if Brazil were going to beat an Argentina side lacking the injured Lionel Messi, Raphinha replied: “We will beat them, no doubt.
“On and off the pitch, if we have to.”

Romario followed up by saying: “F*** them,” to which Raphinha repeated: “F*** them.”
The outburst adds another layer to a game that is always fiery.
Argentina come in on the back of an excellent 1-0 win against Uruguay while Raphinha was on target from the penalty spot as Brazil edged out Colombia 2-1.
Argentina are top of the standings with 28 points from 13 games. Brazil are third but can move within four points of Lionel Scaloni’s men with a win tomorrow night.
