The showpiece game of the MLS 2024 is almost here as the MLS Cup is decided with LA Galaxy vs New York Red Bulls at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The Bulls shared a message from Formula One world champion Max Verstappen in the hours before kick-off as the Red Bull driver sent his support.

“It’s a big one and I hope you guys can bring home the trophy,” Verstappen told the Western Conference runners-up. “We’ll be cheering for you.”

What time is the MLS Cup final?

The match at the Galaxy’s 27,000-capacity home stadium kicks off at 4pm ET, which is 1pm PT or 9pm GMT.

The game has sold out to fans attending in person, with the gates opening two hours before kick-off and 90s rapper Warren G performing live in the build-up.

FOX network will televise the game live in the US. Spanish-language coverage will be shown on FOX Deportes.

The game will also be shown on Amazon Prime Video and for free on the MLS Season Pass from Apple TV, which has been made free to all viewers for the match.

As well as desktop computers, gaming consoles and Smart TVs, viewers on the go can use the apps to watch the MLS Cup final on phones, tablets and a wide range of other mobile devices.

LA Galaxy vs New York Red Bulls

The Galaxy are favourites to triumph, having won the most recent of their five MLS Cup titles when they beat the New England Revolution in the 2012 final courtesy of a 111th-minute Robbie Keane goal.

The Bulls finished seventh in this season’s Eastern Conference, collecting 17 fewer points than the Galaxy did in their division.

Sandro Schwarz’s team are yet to win the MLS Cup, although the club reached the final in 2008, losing 3-1 to Columbus Crew.
