Conor McGregor agrees to fight with Logan Paul

The UFC star says he will take on the YouTuber in an exhibition in India

Conor McGregor claims he will take on Logan Paul in a boxing match in India.

The UFC star had been linked with an Octagon return against Ilia Topuria but he shot down that suggestion and said he will instead take on YouTuber and entrepreneur Paul.

Writing on X, the Irishman said: “The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.

“I have agreed.

“I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”

Paul, brother of Jake, who recently beat former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in Texas, has taken part in several exhibition fights in recent years.

He got in the ring with fellow YouTuber KSI twice, Floyd Mayweather and then Dillon Danis with none of those encounters enhancing his hopes of being recognised as a serious fighter.

McGregor remains one of the biggest draws in MMA despite not having fought since back-to-back defeats to Dustin Poirier in 2021.

The 36-year-old was last month found guilty in a civil case of assaulting a woman in a Dublin hotel six years ago and ordered to pay £206,000 in damages.
