Best Sorare players in the Premier League Gameweek 403

Tottenham’s impressive start to the season highlighted a weekend of goals in the Premier League, with Ange Postecoglou’s side putting 5 past newcomers Burnley to move to 10 points from four games.

They were joined by Brighton, who thrashed Newcastle courtesy of a hat-trick from Evan Ferguson, as well as Liverpool and Arsenal, with the latter needing two injury time goals to overcome Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

It was another poor week for Chelsea though, who fell to a 1-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge to leave them heading into the international break in the bottom half of the table, and well off the early pace.

Each week 101 Great Goals will look at the best performing players in each position in Sorare Premier League to give you an insight into which players might be worth considering as we head into the next gameweek.

Goalkeeper

Alisson Becker – 83

  • General: 0
  • Goalkeeping: 19.5
  • Possession: -0.3

Defender

Destiny Udogie – 100

A new arrival in north London this summer, Udogie’s Tottenham career has got off to a flying start and he underlined his talent once more against Burnley.

The Italian defender grabbed an assist and formed an excellent partnership with Manor Solomon down the left-flank, as well as contributing defensively with a massive 8/9 duels won. Often drifting centrally with Ange Postecoglou’s new-look Tottenham side, the left-back also completed 38 of his 41 passes in an impressive display.

Udogie’s breakdown of Sorare points in the game was:

  • General: -8
  • Defence: 20.5

Midfielder

Manor Solomon – 97

Handed his first start of the season thanks to an injury to Richarlison, Tottenham summer signing Manor Solomon grabbed it with both hands.

The Israeli forward linked up with Heung-Min Son in excellent fashion, and grabbed a brace of assists in a performance that will have Richarlison looking nervously over his shoulder come the announcement of the next starting XI after the international break.

Solomon’s breakdown of Sorare points in the game was:

  • General: -2
  • Defence: 10
  • Possession: 2.6
  • Attack: 2

Forward

Evan Ferguson- 100

What a star Evan Ferguson is set to be. The Brighton striker was one of three forwards to grab a hat-trick this week, but joined an exclusive club to do so at just 18-years-old and against a Newcastle side that are expected to challenge for the top four this season.

Relying solely on poacher’s instinct for the first, Ferguson showed his wide range of skills by firing in from range for his second before seeing a third effort deflect past Nick Pope.

Ferguson’s breakdown of Sorare points in the game was:

  • General: 3.5
  • Defence: 0
  • Possession: 4.4
  • Passing: 2.4
  • Attack: 14
  • Decisive: 80
