The game will be part of Gameweek 403 on Sorare Football, and 101 Great Goals has broken down the key statistical takeaways ahead of the game.

Arsenal vs Manchester United Sorare tips

Arsenal

Eddie Nketiah

Nketiah has once again been the beneficiary of an injury to Gabriel Jesus, starting the Premier League season with two league goals in two starts and one appearance off the bench. It has earned him an England call-up for the first time and after being demoted to the bench against Fulham last time out in favour of Leandro Trossard, he came off the bench to nab the second goal for his side in a 2-2 draw. He should come back into the side this week and could be a sensible selection given the defensive problems Manchester United have been having.

William Saliba

Saliba has reasserted himself as an integral part of the Arsenal defence and one of the best in the league following the injury that so disrupted the end of last season. He has placed himself ahead of Gabriel in the pecking order in the back four which is no mean feat, and with scores of 79, 100 and 57 is a player whose performances translate well into Sorare points. He is sure to be the best defender on display in this game and our pick of the centre-backs for your Sorare teams.

Declan Rice

Rice is still finding his feet in this Arsenal side, with his role slightly adapted from the one he made his own at West Ham and much more defensive orientated. However he has shown signs that he is growing into it and is such a good player that it is only a matter of time until he does so, and that is reflected in his Sorare scores. With 62, 74 and 51 in his three league games to date he is clearly scoring well in Sorare, and if he gets better then he will be a brilliant asset to have. His role will be crucial in keeping Bruno Fernandes quiet.

Manchester United

Christian Eriksen

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Given the injury problems in defence, Wan-Bissaka is almost a certainty to start at the moment for Manchester United which goes to show the progress he has made under Erik ten Hag. He was not fancied by the manager when he first arrived, but has adapted his game to prove a useful asset both in defence and attack. Clearly ahead of Diogo Dalot in the pecking order these days, Wan-Bissaka’s battle with Gabriel Martinelli will be a key factor in the outcome of the match and showed against Wolves that he can contribute in attack, so he could be a Sorare asset to keep an eye out for.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford has been Manchester United’s chief goal threat ever since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and responded in fine fashion last season, netting 34 times for club and country in all competitions. He hasn’t quite got off the mark in similar fashion this year despite holding a central role in attack – the imminent return of Rasmus Hojlund will surely help him immeasurably – but with nine shots and three on target in his three matches so far this season it is clear that he is in the right places, it is just a matter of time before he finds the net.
