4 Sorare Bundesliga gems for Gameweek 373

Gameweek 373 sees the penultimate round of fixtures in the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich face their biggest challenge in their bid to retain the title, with a game against third-placed RB Leipzig.

Borussia Dortmund meanwhile remain just a point behind Bayern and must see off Augsburg while Union Berlin could effectively seal a Champions League spot and condemn Hoffenheim to further trouble at the foot of the table.

look to maintain their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table after successive wins earned them a one-point lead over rivals Borussia Dortmund.

101 Great Goals has looked at the data to see which players you should consider picking for the week ahead in your Sorare Bundesliga team, analysing the most in-form players judging by their last five average scores and looked at who each player is to come up against in the next gameweek to suggest who you should pick in your side.

Goalkeeper

Koen Casteels – vs Freiburg (a)

Wolfsburg face a tough game next up, travelling to face the side immediately above them in the table in fifth-placed Freiburg, but that should only encourage people to back Casteels in goal. The 30-year-old goalkeeper had enjoyed a strong run of form before two mediocre returns in his last two games – the three before that resulted in scores of 89, 62 and 69 – and should enjoy a similarly high return given the amount of work he will be expected to do. His average score in the last five (L5) games is 55 and he is a reliable presence in goal, making him a sensible selection.

Defender

Willi Orban – vs Bayern Munich (a)

Orban was singled out last week after a string of impressive performances, and he continued that against Werder Bremen with a score of 86 and a goal. With three scores on the bounce of 86, 66 and 85, he is a man in hot form and even a game against Bayern Munich shouldn’t be enough to distract managers. With RB Leipzig boasting one of the best defensive records in the division, he is currently hot property.

Midfielder

Florian Kainz – vs Werder Bremen (a)

Forward

Sheraldo Becker – vs Hoffenheim (a)

The man leading the line for Union Berlin this season, Becker has had a brilliant campaign and had a day to remember in the last gameweek. He scored twice and added two assists, contributing to every goal in a 4-2 win to keep them in fourth and taking his tally to 11 goals and seven assists for the season. It is the first time he has passed double figures for the season in his career, while the seven assists has only been surpassed once – with his total goal contributions of 18 also a career best. Unsurprisingly he scored a perfect 100 last time out, and he has recent scores above 60 to help contribute to an L40 of 50, an L15 of 51 and L5 of 61 and is one to watch out for.
