4 Sorare LaLiga gems for Gameweek 373

Gameweek 373 sees Barcelona back at the Nou Camp for the first time since sealing their first LaLiga title in four years as they host Real Sociedad, while Real Madrid travel to Valencia and struggling Getafe face Elche.

Matters at the top of the table are generally decided already, with Sociedad still competing with Villarreal for a top four spot but in pole position, while just three points separate five teams at the bottom of the table with four games left to go.

101 Great Goals has looked at the data to see which players you should consider picking for the week ahead in your Sorare LaLiga team, analysing the most in-form players judging by their last five average scores and looked at who each player is to come up against in the next gameweek to suggest who you should pick in your side.

Goalkeeper

Edgar Badia – vs Getafe (a)

Elche’s goalkeeper has been a busy man this year, with his side boasting the worst defensive record in LaLiga but it would have been far worse had it not been for his displays. Goalkeepers in Sorare can still perform well even if conceding a lot of goals due to the amount of work they have to get through and with 121 saves (as per fbref) throughout the campaign, he has pulled his weight. That’s reflected in his scores too, with an average score over the last five (L5) of 71, and a massive performance of 98 in the shock 1-0 win over Atletico Madrid.

Defender

Youssouf Sabaly – vs Sevilla (a)

Sabaly is on the comeback trail after a knee injury kept him out of six matches, but his performances either side of that absence make him a smart acquisition. His scores of 62 and 75 before the injury have been followed up by an 84 and a 60 since then, including a goal in the 3-1 win over Rayo Vallecano. Injuries have been an issue for Sabaly all season, but if he can put a run of games together between now and the end of the campaign, he could be a bargain.

Midfielder

Gumbau – vs Getafe (a)

The Spanish midfielder is another Elche player who has enjoyed a run of good form despite his side’s travails of late. They have picked up half of their league wins this season (four in total) in the last three games, and Gumbau’s form has been one of the key reasons for that. He is not a prolific player in the attacking third, but scored his only goal of the season in GW 367 to score an 87 and followed it up with a 75 and 74. Her has five assists for the campaign making it his best return in the top tier of Spanish football and with an L5 of 69 looks to be going from strength to strength.
