Gameweek 373: Sorare Serie A top performers

Napoli recorded a statement 3-1 win over Inter Milan to continue their title celebrations in Serie A, while at the other end of the table Spezia climbed out of the bottom three despite missing out on all three points against fellow strugglers Lecce.

Inter’s defeat and a big win for AC Milan leaves just two points between the Milan rivals in the bid for a top four spot, though Lazio and Juventus have put themselves in pole position to secure Champions League football for next year.

Each week 101 Great Goals will look at the best performing players in each position in Sorare Serie A to give you an insight into which players might be worth considering as we head into the next gameweek.

Goalkeeper

Wladimiro Falcone – 64

Having secured promotion to Serie A last year, Lecce have put themselves on the brink of survival this season for a second crack at the league. With two games left they are three points clear of the bottom three, owing to back-to-back draws. The latest came with a 0-0 draw to relegation rivals Spezia, which saw both sides miss the chance to make a decisive step in either direction. The clean sheet served Falcone well with a 64-point haul, though he had little to do throughout the game.

Falcone’s breakdown of Sorare points in the game was:

  • General: 0
  • Goalkeeping: 9
  • Possession: -5.4
  • Attack: 0
  • Decisive: 60

Defender

Amir Rrahmani – 90

Napoli capped off what has been a brilliant season with a convincing 3-1 win over Inter Milan, and the centre-back made one crucial intervention that played a huge role in securing the three points. Rrahmani scored extra decisive points for a goalline clearance, while Napoli’s dominance in possession meant that he scored well in the possession numbers and he also entered the opposition area. It backs up a performance of 62 in his last outing to give him an L5 rating of 61.

  • General: -2
  • Defence: 2.5
  • Possession: 28.9
  • Attack: 0.5
  • Decisive: 60

Midfielder

Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa – 90

Anguissa was picked out as one to watch in the build-up to Napoli vs Inter Milan owing to his consistent but unspectacular scoring in the heart of the midfield, but he kicked that up a gear with a brilliant all-round performance in the 3-1 win over Inter. The midfielder scored and assisted one goal to ensure he scored very highly and take his tally to three goals and five assists for the season – a tally he has never matched for either statistic. His overall goal contributions of eight for this season far surpasses the total of three in the Premier League.

Anguissa’s breakdown of Sorare points in the game was:

  • General: -0.5
  • Defence: -2
  • Possession: 16
  • Attack: 5
  • Decisive: 70

Forward

Brahim Diaz – 100

The former Manchester City and Real Madrid creative forward was in lethal form for AC Milan in their statement 5-1 win over basement boys Sampdoria, with one goal and two assists earning him a perfect score. It took his total to six goals and seven assists for the season – the overall of 13 goal involvements by far the best of his career. It would suggest there is far more to come from Diaz who appears to be improving season on season, and his inconsistent scores are preventing him from averaging higher overall.

Diaz’s breakdown of Sorare points in the game was:

  • General: 2
  • Defence: 0
  • Possession: 10.4
  • Attack: 16.5
  • Decisive: 80
